Brian Springstead & his son Luke Springstead run their fishing boat True Blue out of the East Bay Harbor Marina in Acme, Michigan. The family run business has been operating for over 50 years. Their love for fishing and the Traverse City area will give you the small-town, one-of-a kind fishing experience that you are searching for in Northern Michigan. Their extensive knowledge of the perfect fishing locations on East Bay will give you the optimal chance at catching fish on your charter.

The True Blue vessel is a 31 ft Tiara Open featuring the best in class electronics and safety equipment. The boat comfortable carries 6 people.

True Blue contains outdoor seating and a cabin. The cabin usage is limited to the head (bathroom) when needed.

We strive to give our charters a fun and safe day out on beautiful Lake Michigan.

We offer full day & half day charters on the True Blue. During each charter, your group will take turns at the fishing poles & spend the day at some of the best fishing spots on East Bay. We will depart and return out of East Bay Harbor Marina. At the end of your charter the crew will rinse and filet your fish to take home. (Don't forget a cooler to bring your catch home for dinner!)
